Every 27th of October, we celebrate World Day for Audiovisual Heritage. This UNESCO-proclaimed event reminds us to preserve films, recordings, and broadcasts, our living memories of culture and history.
Through films, sounds, and videos, we can see and hear the stories of different communities, languages, and traditions. They show the world’s rich culture and diversity. These are not just old materials, but they are living memories of people’s creativity, strength, and shared experiences. Keeping these archives safe helps us remember who we are.
