The College of Home Economics and Technology (CHET) – Department of Entrepreneurship recently hosted an international webinar on “Developing a Customer-Centric Mindset,” featuring Dr. Palomporn Chalermwan of Maejo University Thailand Agro Food Park. Dr. Chalermwan delivered her insightful presentation to 152 BS in Entrepreneurship students on October 9, 2024 at the CTE Function Hall. This event was part of BSU’s annual Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrated from October 7-11.
Dr. Chalermwan shared innovative strategies for cultivating a customer-focused approach, highlighting its impact on business practices from local to global perspectives. The webinar supports the ongoing five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between BSU and Maejo University which fosters collaborative academic exchanges, including lectures and symposia. The MOU is managed by the BSU ATBI/IC office under Dr. Ruth C. Diego.
The initiative was led by Mr. Lesley Dale G. Umayat, Director of the Food Science Research and Innovation Center (FSRIC) and faculty member in the Department of Entrepreneurship, furthering BSU’s international collaboration on technopreneurship and innovation. The event equipped students, particularly fourth-year students in Business Plan Implementation, with practical insights into developing customer-centered strategies, enriching their entrepreneurial knowledge and future business ventures. //JBPinos-an
