“Your Global Launchpad II: Expanding International Opportunities for Students” was successfully conducted at the International Relations Office Building, engaging students from the College of Home Economics and Technology, BSU, Center for Culture and the Arts, and the College of Human Kinetics-Benguet.
The activity was organized in collaboration with the PTCP Explore Career Consultancy Services Team, led by Ms. Joy Elisabeth P. Sudango. As the second installment of the Global Launchpad series, the session aimed to provide targeted international opportunities suited to the academic interests of Home Economics, Culture and Arts, and Human Kinetics students.
In the morning session, PTCP Career Explore engaged students from CHET and CCA. Ms. Emielyn S. Balagtas presented various study-abroad opportunities specifically aligned with CHET programs, highlighting partner destinations such as New Zealand, Canada, Australia, Spain, and Poland. This was followed by Ms. Irene M. Victore, who discussed international internship opportunities in countries including the United States, Thailand, and Switzerland, outlining program benefits and application requirements. The session also featured Ms. Elizabeth, who introduced a Study Tour Program to Bali, Indonesia, offering students short-term international exposure and cultural learning experiences.
In the afternoon session, students from the College of Human Kinetics were introduced to global opportunities tailored to their field. Mr. Matt Aldrie G. Salipeo discussed the opportunity to work as a camp counselor abroad, presenting possible placements in various international destinations. Meanwhile, Mr. Jason E. Angayen, Business Development Officer, shared opportunities to pursue studies at UCAM, Spain, including options for Master’s degrees and Diploma programs.
