The Climate and Clean Air Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 29 to June 2, 2023, was an eye-opening experience. Organized by the Climate and Clean Air Coalition of UNEP, the event focused on tackling air pollution and climate change through collaborative action. It brought together global experts, policymakers, and advocates to discuss strategies for reducing short-lived climate pollutants like black carbon and methane.
Participating in discussions and workshops, I gained a deeper understanding of the urgent need for integrated solutions that benefit both the climate and public health. The experience reinforced my commitment to advocating for cleaner air and more sustainable practices in both local and global contexts.
