The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) is inviting applications for the 2025 SEARCA Agri-Innovator Program (AIP). This dynamic, short-term training program will be held on:
- Face-to-Face Sessions: 27-31 January 2025 at SEARCA, Philippines
- Online Sessions: 03-14 February 2025
Program Overview
The AIP offers participants an immersive experience into agricultural innovation using a human-centric approach and real-world scenarios. Participants will explore practical, scalable solutions in agriculture and gain essential skills to drive innovation in the sector.
Program Objectives
- Understand the design-thinking process as a human-centric approach to problem-solving in agriculture.
- Apply various strategies in ideation and execution, depending on their project development stage.
- Comprehend the key drivers of innovation, productivity, profitability, and sustainability to ensure continuity beyond the program.
Who Can Apply?
- Recent BA/BSc graduates and current or recent MA/MS/PhD students from public or private HEIs with agricultural innovation-related thesis or project topics.
- Researchers or extension workers from public or private HEIs engaged in agricultural innovation projects.
- Staff of non-government or private organizations working on agricultural innovation.
