Ambassador Kell joined by Dyan Mabunga Rodriguez (NZ Aid Programme Manager) promoted post-graduate scholarship opportunities in New Zealand during their visit in the University on January 31, 2023.

A total of 80 faculty members and staff from different colleges and units participated the forum. During the discussions, Ambassador Kell encouraged participants to apply not only for world-class education but also for the New Zealand Experience – its people and culture. Several New Zealand universities were also featured. Among them were Massey University, the University of Otago, the University of Auckland, and the University of Canterbury. Ms. Rodriguez discussed the specifics and requirements of the scholarships.

The forum concluded with a closing remarks by the IRO Director Maria Luz D. Fang-asan. She expressed her gratitude to the Ambassador for considering BSU in their scholarship program.

𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐀𝐊𝐈 𝐍𝐙 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐄

Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships offer fully-funded postgraduate scholarships for Master of Arts (MAs) and Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) programs in different specializations.

The scholarships are open to people aged 40 and under. Only 16 slots are allotted for Filipino applicants. Grantees will receive full scholarship, stipend and other benefits shouldered by the featured Universities.
