The BSU CDAE Taskforce is scheduled to travel to Vietnam from October 11 to 15, 2023, while the Sakura Science grantees will travel to Japan from November 12 to 18, 2023.

During the orientation session, participants received information and guidance on various aspects of their international travels including cultural awareness, safety measures, and resources available to them while abroad. The goal of PDOS is to ensure that they are well-prepared and equipped to make the most of their experiences.

In addition. the IRO had the privilege of welcoming Director for a Day Grace Palayen from Loo National High School in Buguias. During her visit, Grace gained valuable insights into the functions of the International Relations Office and was introduced to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The IRO also offered a glimpse into the world of international diplomacy and global citizenship.

The Scout Officer for a Day (SOFAD) program aims to provide Scouts with unique opportunities for self-development as future leaders.
