Together with Sri Lankan youths + Asia Pacific youths were present during the proceedings of 5th Asia-Pacific Forum of Ministers and Environment Authorities.
After days of preparing and crafting interventions, finally the key recommendations from the Asia Pacific Youth Environment Forum (APYEF) were included in the Chair’s summary which will also lead up to the submission of Asia Pacific to UNEA-6 in February 2024. UNEA is the highest intergovernmental body that brings together representatives of the 193 member states of the UN, civil society and other stakeholders to set priorities for global policies and international environmental develop environmental law and advocate for the environmental dimension of sustainable development.
