Attending the Stockholm+50 international meeting in Stockholm, Sweden from May 30 to June 5, 2022, was an enriching experience focused on accelerating global environmental action. The event marked the 50th anniversary of the 1972 United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, highlighting the urgency of addressing climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. It brought together global leaders, environmental advocates, and youth to discuss innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
Engaging in various discussions and networking opportunities, I gained valuable insights into nature-based solutions, circular economies, and the role of youth in driving environmental change. The experience deepened my commitment to advancing sustainability initiatives, particularly through collaborations that foster inclusive, long-term environmental progress.
