CVM Trio Expands Veterinary Horizons in Indonesia

Three Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students have been chosen to participate in the prestigious International Student Inbound (ISI) Program hosted by the Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Malang, East Java, Indonesia.

Valerie A. Buhong, Ezra Kassandra D. Cabello, and Eunice Coleen C. Ferido will be immersing themselves in the “Intensive Short Course in Veterinary Diagnostic Pathology and Reproduction Care” from August 4 to 30, 2024. As part of a distinguished group of eight delegates representing the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Vietnam, they will have the unique opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in these critical veterinary fields.

IRO conducted a Pre-Departure Orientation Session (PDOS) last July 31, 2024 to ensure the delegates were well-prepared for this international experience. The session covered essential travel information, cultural insights, and academic expectations, equipping the participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to make the most of their time abroad.

This program marks a significant milestone for the CVM and its students, providing a platform for international collaboration and learning. IRO extends its warmest congratulations to the three students and wishes them a fruitful and enriching experience in Indonesia.//Glyrel Palberas, IRO staff
