TU Vice President for International Cooperation Kumi Yasonubo, Asistant Professor Asres Elias Baysa, PhD Student Yuki Toyama and Masters’ students Kazuki Miyatani and Daichi Umekawa visited the university on October 27-31, 2022 .

Representatives from the College of Agriculture-Department of Agribusiness, Economics and Agricultural Management (CA-DAEAM), Office of the University Registrar (OUR), Research and Extension Publication Office (REPO), Institute of Social Research and Development (ISRD), Office of Legal Affairs (OLA), International Language Center(ILC) and IRO conducted a meeting on the possible Student Exchange Program between the two universities. A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the aforementioned program and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the university partnership are in the works.

Following the MOA approval, the university will host Umekawa in January 2023 under CA-DAEAM.
